Oblig 3, More face modeling

Today I have mostly done face modeling, refining the nose and eyes mostly. Other than that I have done some coloring on the drawing I was working on (see picture).

Was a bit tired of all the nitpicking with my characters face so i decided to start work on a personal project I am doing for me and a friend of min PJ (who made the drawing). I am gonna play around with it a bit in photoshop and see what comes of it. So far I have made it neutral so that I can star putting on shadow and color on it.

Oblig 3, face modeling

I Have done some face modeling today. I started trying to create a face from a plane, but it did not go to well, then one of my teachers told me to go check out a tutorial at http://www.arildwiro.com/. It got me started on my second attempt. I had to do some things differently due to the difference in the tutorial model and my own, but I feel I managed to get what I wanted out of it.

Oblig 3, Starting modeling

I started doing a bit of modeling last thursday and built a basic body mesh. Today I have refined it a bit trying to get some more details one the model. I also created a mockup of a rigg (skeleton) for the model to see how it would look. I have not yet decided if I am going to use this mesh, but it is a start.

Bio: James/Jamie was born in Cannes 03.05.1997, but he moved with his parents to LA when he was one year old. The reason was that his father was offered a very good job there. At the age of 3 James discovered the world of Pokemon, this discovery led to an obsession and the purchase of movies, cards, and any other merchandise he could get his hand on. His mother has not been able to get a job yet and is spending her day as a houswife. This has led to James becoming very attached to his mother and he has also become a bit spoiled as he usually gets what he wants. His father works a lot, leaving early and coming home late leading to a very detatched relationship with his son. James usually tries to get his father’s attention by doing pranks which usually blow up in his face. Communication between father and son is very one-way and it usually consists of lectures and/or reprimands.
